Neil Kinnock

Neil Gordon Kinnock, Baron Kinnock is a British politician belonging to the Labour Party. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1970 until 1995 and as Labour Leader and Leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition from 1983 until 1992.
Following Labour's defeat in the 1992 election Kinnock resigned and served as a European Commissioner from 1995-2004. Until the summer of 2009 he was the Chairman of the British Council. Kinnock served as President of Cardiff University from 1998 until 2009. Today, he is regarded as one of Labour's elder statesmen. » Read more on Wikipedia.org
